This page gives general safety and care information for Sonaday products, and the details required by the EU General Product Safety Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2023/988).
Note: the care instructions below are general guidance and are being verified against our production partner's product specifications. The product page and the label on each item take priority.
1. Manufacturer and production partner
Sonaday products are made on demand by our production partner:
- Printful Inc. and its affiliates, which operate the production facilities that print and ship your order.
The product page for each item will show the specific manufacturer details and materials.
2. EU responsible person
For products sold to customers in the European Union, our EU responsible person is:
- [[EU_RESPONSIBLE_PERSON]]
3. Apparel (t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies)
- Machine wash cold (30 °C / 86 °F), inside out, with similar colours.
- Don't bleach. Tumble dry low, or hang to dry.
- Don't iron directly on the print. Don't dry clean.
- Embroidered items: wash inside out on a gentle cycle.
- Keep away from open flames.
4. Mugs
- Ceramic mugs are usually dishwasher and microwave safe. [[VERIFY_PRODUCT_CARE]]
- Mugs with metallic or colour-changing finishes may not be microwave or dishwasher safe; the product page will say so.
- Hot liquids can burn. Don't use a cracked or chipped mug.
5. Posters, framed prints and canvas
- Keep out of direct sunlight and away from moisture to stop colours fading.
- Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Don't use water or cleaning products.
- Framed prints may include glass or acrylic glazing and hanging hardware: hang them securely, out of reach of small children.
6. Pillows and blankets
- Follow the care label. Covers are usually machine washable cold on a gentle cycle; air dry.
- Not intended for infants to sleep with. Keep loose bedding away from babies under 12 months.
- Keep away from open flames and heat sources.
7. Phone cases
- Check the case matches your phone model before ordering.
- A case reduces but doesn't prevent damage from drops.
8. Small parts and children
Some products include small parts or packaging that could be a choking hazard. Keep packaging away from young children. Products are not toys unless clearly stated.
9. Reporting a safety issue
If you think a Sonaday product is unsafe, stop using it and email support@sonaday.com with your order number and photos. We'll respond quickly and, where needed, inform the authorities and our production partner.
